The Penrod Company, a worldwide distributor of forest, metal and PVC products and one of North America’s largest suppliers of hardwood lumber and plywood, is pleased to announce the opening of its office in Shanghai Province, China. The Virginia Beach, Virginia-based company says the opening will allow it to keep pace with its expanding distribution the business world over. Company officials estimate that their China office will see more than 100,000 tons of product in import and export in 2005. The Shanghai office will be led by Carl Gade, Executive Vice President.
